As a person who exists in a society with wild power imbalances between race, sex, gender, etc your job as someone on top of the proverbial pile is simple: shut up and listen when less-advantaged people are talking. You can’t do anything about your gender or the color of your skin. I know it wasn’t your fault that you were born white, straight, cis, male, or rich. Your cross to bear is that you need to shut up and listen instead of talking.
